Hey Joel! Ok so I’m really wanting to get into measuring the output Audio that is going into our stream? What is like the Industry standard device for this? We’re not using any DAW for our stream audio, all fed from a console so would have to be some sort of external hardware. Thanks!!

Hey Drake! Great question.

There isn't really one de facto industry standard, but there are a few popular options...

TC Electronic is probably one of the most popular. They make a lot of different meters and loudness controls. The Clarity M is a popular stand-alone meter that is fairly budget-friendly: https://www.tcelectronic.com/product.html?modelCode=P0DC8
If you have Waves SoundGrid or a way to use Waves plugins live, then they have a loudness meter plugin: https://www.waves.com/plugins/wlm-loudness-meter#how-to-set-loudness-levels-for-streaming-wlm
You can also run a plugin like YouLean Loudness Meter on a computer.

Typically, if you're using external hardware meters or a computer then you would split your main mix output so it can go to both the loudness meter and your video system.
