Excellent. Thanks for that info.
And thanks for your patience. I was traveling the last couple of days, so I've been a bit slow to respond.
To get camera control with the BMPCCs and the ATEM Television Studio models you need to use the Blackmagic Design Micro Converter BiDirectional SDI/HDMI 3G (Affiliate Link). That is the only way (right now) to maintain the camera control signals when converting to SDI from the camera's HDMI port. You place the converter by the camera and use a short HDMI cable from the camera to the converter (My HDMI Cable Recommendations). Then you run 2 SDI coax cables from the converter to the ATEM. One cable plugs in to the SDI input on the switcher, the other plugs into the PGM output above the input in the switcher.
Now, with that understanding you have 2 basic ways to get your SDI signals from the cameras and computer to your switcher: coax and fiber.
Coax is the simplest option. You will need 2 coax cables for each camera (video signal and control signal) and 1 coax cable for your computer (so 7 cables total). That's going to require probably 2x 1000' spools of RG-6 (maybe 1000' and 500' if you are less than 200' per cable), 75 ohm BNC connectors, and the tools to make the cables. If you don't want to make your own cables you can also purchase pre-made cables. Here is an example of a 200' pre-made SDI cable I recommend that will work well for your situation: Blue Jeans Cable 200' RG6 SDI Cable - (Affiliate Link). Also, here are all of My SDI Cable Recommendations.
Fiber is going to be the most versatile and future-proof, but will also be the more expensive option. You can get converters that do 1, 2, and 4 channels of SDI over a single fiber cable. If you decide you want to do fiber, then I can help you figure out what would work best.
