Unfortunately, I don’t recommend any JVC products. In my 20 year career I have never once used a JVC camera I have liked. They always try to cut build/image quality to bring prices down but add certain features to make their products seem better than they are (built-in streaming, odd wireless features, etc.). It is also a brand you rarely see in professional environments and rental houses due to their less than stellar reputation. They have their fans and audience, but I’m not one of them.
I understand the desire for a camera that does well in low light, but I would still recommend working on lighting if at all possible. Here’s why.
