Need help what I should get for church live stream AND recording for post editing.
We use ATEM mini pro. In addition to the consumer junk we already have, I'd like to get 2 new cameras:
1) a volunteer-light option (like 1 zoom-out view) for those days of less / inexperienced help AND ALSO
2) something that can be set on a tripod and panned around/ zoomed-in.

So should we go with get a blackmagic pocket cinema 4k and/ or a PVZ fixed install kind of camera.
Stage has large bright LED wall. But the rest of the house has poor lighting.

Hey Timothy. Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the community!

First of all, since you say you have an LED wall and lighting is poor, I would recommend getting proper lighting. One mistake I see a lot of churches make is that they get LED walls, but then find out their lighting is not bright enough to work well and they discover the LED wall is overexposed and the people on stage are dark on camera.

First Things First

As far as cameras, here are a few questions to understand your expectations and needs better:

How far will each camera be from stage?
Do you want the ability to have smooth motorized (servo) zoom on every camera?
Do you want the ability to remotely control every camera?
What is your overall budget or budget per camera?

I guess I need lighting advice for the stage then.

And for cameras, I’ve come to know servo sort of doubles the price on cameras, so I think we would work with volunteers to zoom/pan or else just live with a fixed camera for those times we’re short on help.

For budget, I think we could spend (Initially) $3,000.l just for the cameras.

Would you say spend that on 2 BMPCC 4K pockets cinema cameras or 2 Blackmagic Design Studio Camera 4K Pro’s (or Plus?); OR one of each?

Just to clarify, I meant $3,000 for just the camera body (not including whatever recommended lenses I should consider)
